Aged 34, I am a contemporary artist living in Istanbul, Turkey, soon to be moving to Toronto, ON.

I have studied fine arts and have a masters degree which I wrote a thesis on “Comic Books; their influences on contemporary art”. Having a strong artistic background, I’ve contributed to several exhibitions and shows organized by many respected national and international associations since 1992, including the first International Sinop Biennale: Sinopale, held in September 2006.

One of the habits I never stopped is drawing. A special illustrative project, Muscuts is one of my personal works. Project can be seen on www.muscuts.com.

Besides the art scene, I am also into digital design since 1998. I have worked for several prestigious companies of Turkish internet industry and designed a variety of 'above the line' projects which include; portals, auction, corporate, matchmaking, social networking and magazine websites.

Nowadays I am employed at GittiGidiyor - eBay, Turkey's leading auction site, as the creative director of the company.

The area of my studies and interest within the “online design” field is, primarily based on internet user attitudes and habits. The sphere of my interest widened with the internet concept Web 2.0. I am also highly interested in new concepts and approaches and I guide the company’s executive management team on new online branding and visual standards.

I am married to my lovely wife Ceren since September, 2005.
